telex2texel Ambient intro builds to the main section at 4:50 when the drums arrive, the gated trance bass (ala Oliver Lieb) there melds well with the dreamy IDM-like synth that appears. File in the golden age of mid-90's electronic music section. Favorite track: Mirror.

And the sound is just great. Real
smooth.
If I should describe this album with one word it would be:
Coherent Favorite track: Omen.

about

The debut album from Studio Seismic following two earlier EP releases. All tracks here were recorded between November 2009 and March 2010 and then stashed away for safe keeping. The first pass of editing/remixing took place between November 2011 and February 2012. Final mixing and mastering was completed between December 2012 and February 2013. This was a real labour of love, involving almost 250 hours of work. These tracks reflect my fascination with using Prog Rock ideas and forms to create stylistic mashups of questionable provenance, some of which may be passably groovy.

Genre: ElectroProg, ProgRock, House, Ambient

whatsisname West Sussex, UK

Prog-Rock formed a significant part of my musical upbringing. I hope that these mainly electronic morsels manage to convey part of that heritage, although genres can be hard to pin down with any degree of certainty.
