about

This is my first ambient release, and at just over 30 minutes in length, could be classified as an EP, although I prefer to call it a mini-album.

All tracks were recorded and mastered between April 2017 and February 2020, with none of my usual remix, remix shenanigans. Either I'm becoming lazy, or I'm getting them right first time. I suspect the truth lies somewhere between.

I wasn't working on these tracks with a plan to release them as an album. This album seemed to materialise about 4 weeks ago, when I realised that they formed a coherent sequence of tracks, musically and conceptually.

Genre: Ambient, Dark Ambient

Prog-Rock formed a significant part of my musical upbringing, although this collection of my creations may confuse the casual listener, and I suspect, the experienced listener equally. I note that the proportion of my ambient releases relative to my other works is slowly increasing. ... more
